School Bake Club fundraising success

Siobhans Bake Club at school with staff
Teacher Siobhan Thomas was inspired to join our Bake Club and raise funds for us after two children at her school had been diagnosed with cancer.

Siobhan works at St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic School. The teachers and teaching assistants’ put together a very successful Bake Club event raising a wonderful £176.40!

Siobhan bake clubSiobhan was overwhelmed by the number of people who got involved in baking and making sure the bake sale event was a success.

As a small team Siobhan and her colleagues did brilliantly well to bake and sell a wide variety of cakes. Cakes included rocky road, cupcakes, banana muffins and even a chocolate mud pie!

Holding a Bake Club event was such a morale-booster for Siobhan and her team that they are now hoping to hold a regular Bake Club.

Siobhan’s Bake Club Top Tip:

"We used the downloadable online fundraising resources and loved the bunting so much it is still up in the staffroom".

Siobhan’s Bake Club success is a great example of how you can organise a small Bake Club event at your school as a break-time treat for teachers and make a real difference to children with cancer.
