Chelsey Wileman is a remarkable young woman.
She's doing all sorts of things to raise money for Children with Cancer UK - including entering this year's TOP MODEL competition.
Chelsey's mum, Sam, is of course bursting with pride and shares her story with us.
"Towards the end of 2011, Chelsey entered the TOP MODEL 2012 competition and was successfully selected from 1000's of entries received.
She'll take part in the NATURAL BEAUTY 2012 category in the national Grand Final show at the Hilton Metropole in London on Sunday 18th March.
All the money raised from Chelsey's votes will go to Children with Cancer UK.
In the meantime Chelsey's been exploring other fundraising avenues too.
Since the last week in January Chelsey has written to local buisnesses in our area to see if they would be prepared to donate a prize for a raffle draw.
She has asked friends and family to give her things for me to sell for her on e-bay and a car boot sale which we did one Sunday. She spent ages making a charity sign to stick in the back window of the car.
Along with myself and her sister we did a bag pack at our local Sainsburys. She designed some cards and crafts to sell at an Anne Summers party at our local pub. She spent four very cold hours street collecting in Coalville and Ashby de-la-Zouch.
But the biggest test was a 28 mile high peak sponsored bike ride. When we got to Ashbourne the route had got 50mm of frozen ice on it. Although Chelsey was confident at first, after she fell off her bike she lost some of that confidence. What should have been a 2-3 hour ride turned into 11 hours over 2 days.
Having said all that, she has loved every minute of it and she is so proud of herself. Every time we count some money her face lights up knowing that she is helping others.
She's doing another street collection in Burton upon Trent this Saturday and the following Saturday. She is doing a 'spin wheel' ride at our local gym where her raffle will be drawn."
We are truly grateful to Chelsey and all of the 2012 Top Model Finalists who helped to raise a wonderful £8,681 for Children with Cancer UK.
