Isle of Wight Challenge

143 days 18 hours 17 mins 15 secsSpectacular coastlines, dramatic white cliffs and sandy beaches – take this ultra challenge around the Isle of Wight’s coastal path.

From Chale in the south, past the Needles then on and around for 106km with ups and downs, highs and lows through Cowes and Sandown and back to Chale.

Mr. Men and Little Miss Team

We are delighted to announce that the Mr. Men and Little Miss Team have teamed up with Children with Cancer UK to help raise funds in the fight against childhood cancer.

Join the Children with Cancer UK Mr. Men and Little Miss Team to experience this fabulous event!

Walk it, jog it or run it – it’s your challenge, your way.

You can do the full island (106km) in one go or over two days. There’s also half island (52km or 54km) and quarter island (25km) options.

Whether you're new to endurance events or a seasoned challenger, the journey will be unforgettable - with some training and our support – you can do it.

Registration fee: £69
Minimum fundraising target per person: £395

Half island challenge
Registration fee: £49

Quarter island challenge
Registration fee: £39

Information for participants

  • May Bank Holiday weekend (Sat 29 April start)
  • Full Island (106km) & 1/2 (1st/2nd~53km) & 1/4 (1st ~25km) options
  • Continuous challenge through to Sunday, depending on speed & distance
  • NEW 2 DAY Full Island option. 52km on Sat - SLEEP - then 54km on Sun
  • FREE hot food, snacks & drinks at covered rest stops
  • Fully signed route – pink arrows + glow sticks. Route maps & GPX files
  • Pace walkers, Trek Masters, medics, massage & vehicles to support you
  • Join as an individual or create a team with friends or colleagues

The Essex Ramblers trek 106km around the Isle of Wight

On Saturday 30th April, Rob Norris and friends, known as the Essex Ramblers, set off to trek 106km around the Isle of Wight, in memory of their friend, Jason Moss, who lost his battle with leukaemia 14 years ago. To date they have raised over £2,500.
