London 2012 Olympic Road Race route
This is a chance to cycle this modified version of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race route - just hours before the world’s top cyclists begin their race on this same course.
- A 100 mile challenge ride.
- Starts in the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
- Follows the closed roads through the capital and onto Surrey’s stunning country roads and hills.
- Leg-testing climbs and a route made famous by the world’s Olympic cyclists.
- Perfect ride for club & recreational cyclists.
- Slower cyclists can enjoy a challenging ride - you must be able to finish the 100 miles within nine hours.
- Faster riders will relish the opportunity to pit themselves against the country’s top amateurs.
- Aims to be the largest charity fund-raising cycle race in the world.
For a shorter route you can take part in Prudential RideLondon–Surrey 46 - a spectacular 46 mile route on traffic-free roads.
Thank you to our 2016 team
Thank you so much to all of our 500 riders who took to the empty London and Surrey streets on Sunday 31st July, along with 26,000 others, and cycled 100 miles. Please watch our video of the day.
We had a fantastic day supporting our team and the weather was perfect.
Our cyclists arrived at the finish to a warm welcome from our volunteers and were taken to our post hospitality venue, where they received a complimentary massage and a very well deserved rest.
We are delighted that to date we have raised over £130,000 so far, with more donations flooding in!
Thank you to everyone who took part and the friends and family who came along to support the team!
