Project grants for research into childhood cancer

We are particularly interested in funding innovative work and have set aside a proportion of the available funds for start-up grants.

The closing date for submission of outline applications is 6th June 2012.

Scientific conference on early exposures and childhood cancer

In April 2012 we hosted an international scientific conference on the causes of childhood cancer, with a particular focus on in utero and early childhood exposures.
 
If we can understand what elements of today’s lifestyle are placing our children at risk, we may be able to implement protective measures.

The AMRC sets minimum standards of good practice to which member charities must adhere in their grant-making, including policies on peer review.

We are also members of the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI).
NCRI is a UK-wide partnership between the government, charity and industry. It promotes co-operation amongst its member organisations for the benefit of patients, the public and the scientific community.
