Our #RingTheBell awareness-raising campaign is a specially created interactive installation to help raise awareness of childhood cancer and this devastating statistic.
We collaborated with Ground Visual, Talon and Accord to create an interactive digital out of home installation at Westfield London.
Whilst we wanted to raise awareness, we also wanted to celebrate the fact that eight in ten children are successfully treated.
In order to do this, we reached out to eight children who had recently rung the end of treatment bell and asked them to send in their real-life footage.
By investing in vital specialist research, Children with Cancer UK aims to save the life of every child with cancer and keep their family together.
The digital billboard creative encouraged the public to show their support by shaking their phone to ring the bell.
By entering their name into a web address on their mobile phone, participants could start interacting. Shaking their handset to trigger the bell was immediately followed by the heart-warming personal videos of children ringing the end of treatment bell, followed by a personalised on-screen thank you message.
Ground Visual provided interactive tech-build for the mobile gesture-controlled campaign and OOH media was planned and booked by Talon and Accord.
End of Treatment Bells are placed into hospitals for children and adults with cancer to ring after their gruelling treatment.
