Who you are helping

Your support will help save the lives of more children with cancer like Ace

Ace“28th January 2008. A day that changed my whole family’s life. My son Ace was three years and three months old when he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

All I wanted to do was to take my son as far away as I could from the hospital. I started tallying up how much medicine he was taking over three and a half years – it was 180 doses every four weeks; steroids, medicine to help with side effects and all the chemo drugs. He sometimes used to go into anaphylactic shock after treatments. But we are one of the lucky ones – our son made it.

He started secondary school this year and is achieving some great results.”

Ian, Ace’s dad
