Captain Tom 100

Last April, Captain Tom Moore walked 100 laps of his garden to raise funds for the NHS, and raised an incredible £38.9 million.

To mark what would have been Captain Tom Moore’s 101st birthday and celebrate his amazing achievements, we are all invited to take part in the Captain Tom Moore 100 Challenge. Choose your 100 challenge in his memory and fundraise to give hope to children facing cancer.

What is the Captain Tom 100?

Everyone is invited to take on a challenge around the number 100 anytime and anywhere over Captain Tom’s birthday weekend. It’s so simple.

Simply think up your 100 challenge, it can be anything you like from walking 100 metres, baking 100 cakes, 100 keepy-uppies, skip for 100 minutes or juggling for 100 seconds. The choice is yours!

How does it work?

Complete your own 100 challenge between Friday 30 April – Monday 3 May. Here’s what you need to do:

  • Think up your 100 challenge
  • Take on your 100 challenge any time between Friday 30 April and Monday 3 May
  • Fundraise or donate to Children with Cancer UK
  • Get in touch and let us know what you’re doing
  • Share your 100 challenge on social media using the hashtag #CaptainTom100

How do you begin fundraising?

Online fundraising can be done either through Virgin Money Giving, or JustGiving – the choice is yours.

Set up your fundraising page on your platform of choice and begin your fundraising knowing that the money you raise will help fund life-saving cancer research for children and young people while continuing Captain Tom Moore’s incredible legacy.
