Children with Cancer UK is delighted to have been chosen as St Baldrick's UK partner.
In 2014, St. Baldricks fundraisers raised a wonderful £63,000.00 through a series of head-shave events in the UK.
St Baldrick's is a worldwide organisation that is fighting to cure childhood cancer through its signature head-shave events.
The head-shave events focus on ‘shavees’ asking their friends and family to make donations ‘on their head’.
It’s an easy and fun way to raise money for a very serious cause - like a walkathon, but without the blisters!
St. Baldrick's events happen throughout the year and in every part of the world.
Each event is unique, but they're all focused on one goal - curing childhood cancer.
Through this partnership, proceeds from St. Baldrick's head-shaving events throughout the United Kingdom stay in the United Kingdom to support childhood cancer research!

How your head shave and donations can help
With your support, we can fund essential research to improve treatments for children with cancer.
"Georgia was 23 months old when she was diagnosed with leukaemia, a cancer of the blood, and spent most of her ‘toddlerhood’ living hospital life. She was given intensive chemotherapy and her little body just couldn’t take it.
As part of her treatment, Georgia was involved in a clinical trial. Clinical trials and research are so important. There’s nothing worse than watching anyone go through cancer, let alone your little ones.
If treatments are improved and reduced, then the side effects won’t be as bad, and future patients may not have to go through such harsh treatments. I always remember when we first went to hospital, our whole world turned upside down. I still pinch myself today, years on - we’re very lucky and so humble."Pamela, Georgia's mumRead more: Georgia's story
