Mount Kilimanjaro Trek

Take on the highest freestanding mountain in the world and trek Mount Kilimanjaro. Climbing the Machame route, this trek takes you through thick forest, moorland and scree en route to Uhuru Peak, the highest point. This is a challenging trek at altitude, with spectacular views and beautiful ice formations acting as the reward for pushing your limits both physically and mentally.

The 10 day itinerary will allow for gradual acclimatisation to the altitude and increase your chance of reaching the summit. In partnership with Discover Adventure, local guides, cooks and porters will support your trek, with group camping equipment, meals, accommodation and much more included in costs. Sign up today with a charity place and join the Children with Cancer UK team!

Cancer diagnoses

Every day, around 10 children and young people in the UK are diagnosed with cancer.

New treatments

8 out of 10 young cancer patients can now receive successful treatment, thanks to the specialist research we help fund.

Safer therapies

We are committed to developing safer and more effective childhood cancer treatments with fewer toxic side effects.

Funding research

We invest in crucial childhood cancer research that would otherwise go unfunded.
