We are thrilled to announce that we have charity places available to run the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October 2021.
If you would like to join our 2021 team, please complete a Charity Place application form below. We will get back in touch with you regarding your application over the coming weeks. Please note, this application does not guarantee you a London Marathon 2021 charity place. We do receive a high volume of applications and enquiries and we like to read through all of them, so please be patient with us while we work our way through.
If you have entered the organisers’ ballot to try to secure a place independently, the results will be released in January 2021. If you are successful, we’d love for you to join our Children with Cancer UK team, using your own place. Once you find out your result, get in touch or complete the Own Place form below.
We’ll get you to the finish line. We’ve got training and fundraising advice, cheering packs for your friends and family, and a dedicated team ready to answer any last minute questions.
You can be part of our London Marathon 2021 charity team whether you secure your own place independently of Children with Cancer UK or are allocated one of our London Marathon charity places. As part of our team, you will receive the following;
*subject to government guidance and social distancing rules in place at time of the event.

Congratulations to our team of more than 1,200 runners who went the extra mile to help more children ring the end of treatment bell. Thanks to you we can support children with cancer so that they can be with their families for longer.
Simon Benbow, father-of-two and cancer survivor, tackled a 200-mile run from Nantwich to London, all before running in the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. ITV Granada interviewed Simon before he set off from Nantwich.
