Collection Tin/Bucket Supporter Information
Collection Tin/Bucket Supporter Information
Our vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer. Your support means that we can continue our work funding much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments so that every child and young person gets the chance to grow up and live their life to the fullest. The money raised from your tin/bucket collection will also allow us to support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.
We’ll be with you every step of the way but if you need anything then do let us know. Thanks again for your incredible support, we couldn’t do this without you.

Handy Tips
If this is the first time you have undertaken tin/bucket collections, or you’re an absolute pro, we have some handy tips on how to prepare for the day:
Code of Fundraising Practice
- Be polite to people at all times.
- Do not place undue pressure on people for donations.
- Do not leave tins/buckets unattended when fundraising.
- Take all reasonable steps to treat a donor fairly, so that they can make an informed decision about any donation.
- Think about who you can fundraise with, such as friends, family, or colleagues. Fundraising with others makes the experience more enjoyable, and you’ll probably be surprised how excited people become when you ask them to get involved.
- Check the weather before you go fundraising, and if you are determined when the weather is bad, remember to take some waterproofs or wrap up warm.
- Smile and keep eye contact with people, as they are more likely to see you as friendly and approachable.
- Some people may want to see your Letter of Authority or permit, so remember to keep it on you at all times.
