Host a quiz night

Calling all trivia lovers, pub owners and quiz masters! It’s time to put your knowledge to the test and host a quiz night in support of Children with Cancer UK.

Whether you’re hosting at home, a venue or online, let’s turn up the trivia, crank up the camaraderie, and host a fundraising quiz to raise life saving money for children and young people facing cancer.

By asking for a minimum donation of £5 per person to take part in your quiz, you can raise money to help us achieve our vision of a world where every child and young person survives cancer. Simply sign up below and we’ll be in touch with everything you need for your quiz night.

What to expect

Regardless of the place you hold, we promise to support you all the way and get you to the finish line. We’ll provide training and fundraising advice, cheering packs for your friends and family, and a dedicated team ready to answer any last-minute questions.

As part of our team, you will receive the following;

  • Fundraising materials such as bunting and balloons to decorate for your quiz night
  • A Children with Cancer UK pen per team for the quiz night
  • A quiz guide, question pack and useful resources to promote your event

Additional activities on the night

You may want to include some extra fundraising activities during the event so add to your fundraising total. This could include:

  • Raffle: organise a raffle with donated prizes – get the venue to donate a meal or drink, local shops to offer a gift or friend’s and family to create hampers.
  • Jukebox donations: allow people to request songs to play during the event for a £1 donation per song.
  • Guess the weight/number games: charge per guess for games. For example, for a pub quiz: ‘Guess the weight of the pint’ or ‘How many peanuts in the jar’.
  • Sell food and drinks: add any proceeds to the total fundraising. Be sure to check for the correct licensing and food hygiene requirements if doing so.
