Corporate Partnerships

RS Components

RS Components is the UK, European and Asia Pacific trading brand of Electrocomponents plc. Our partnership started in 2017 and to date RS have raised over £150,000 with an estimated target of £350,000 for 2018.

RS employees have taken part in a wide range of activities to fundraise for Children With Cancer UK, which is the leading national charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. These have included them taking on mountains in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, being knocked off their perch into cold waters in the Rutland Water Aqua Park Challenge and jumping from a plane in a skydive and taking part in the challenging London Marathon in April 2018.

Mike England, head of region for Northern Europe, said: “Our partnership with Children with Cancer UK started back in April 2017, and we’re delighted to have raised so much already. Our staff at RS have been amazing at embracing the cause, and have been organising lots of activities to raise funds. As well as the big challenges, there are many other team and individual activities that are all contributing to this fantastic effort. I am really proud of the team and their achievements.”

One Aldwych

One Aldwych is a five-star luxury hotel in London. Our partnership began back to 2013 and we are delighted to announce that to date One Aldwych have raised over £100,000 for Children with Cancer Uk. One Aldwych continue to raise the bar when it comes to fundraising and supporting us. As well as offering valuable event space their staff have also been actively involved in all types of fundraising activities. It truly is a great partnership.


Brown’s Hotel

We are very excited to announce our new partnership with London’s iconic Brown’s Hotel.

Since opening on Albemarle Street in 1837, this traditional, fun spirited and glamorous hotel has hosted esteemed guests from royals and presidents to world famous authors.

Browns Hotel is renowned for is elegant rooms and suites, exquisite cuisine, day spa, outstanding events and much more.

Browns Hotel will be supporting Children with Cancer UK on multiple levels including hosting their own playful and fresh fundraising events throughout the year.

Ladbrokes Coral

Ladbrokes Coral Group plc is a British-based betting and gambling company.

We are incredibly proud to report that since 2014 Ladbrokes Coral have raised over 2.5 million for Children with Cancer UK.

This fantastic achievement is without a doubt a testament to the dedicated fundraising shown by Ladbrokes Coral staff and their customers. Shops continue to hold regular fundraising events such as bake sales, summer parties & sporting activities while encouraging the sale of scratch cards of which a percentage is given to Children with Cancer UK. The Ladbrokes Coral Grand National Sweepstake raised £50,000 alone. We are very proud to have the Ladbrokes Coral team as one of our charitable corporate partners.

Select Car Leasing

Select Car Leasing have chosen to support Children with Cancer UK by making a donation for every car that is ordered.

£5 from every vehicle will be donated to us and they aim to raise a minimum of £5,000 for Children with Cancer UK within 12 months.

Mark Tongue, from Select Car Leasing says: “We are very happy to be supporting Children with Cancer UK and the crucial work that they continue to do as a charity. It’s a cause that’s not only very close to our heart but also one we feel is extremely important to raise awareness about. We think our customers will be more than happy to offer their support to such a worthy cause.”

Giveacar will donate the proceeds to help fund our life-saving work.

Especially For You Parties

Especially For You Parties provides princess parties and children’s entertainment across the UK. They work with hundreds of parents every single month to create truly magical birthdays, whether it’s involving a princess, superhero, unicorn, pirate or something completely different.

Working with children is extremely rewarding, but it can be heartbreaking to learn a child has cancer. Especially For You Parties have partnered with Children with Cancer UK to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those children.

For every booking received they will be generously donating £1.00 to Children with Cancer UK, as well as working with us to raise awareness for this important cause.

We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Toyota Manufacturing UK. They will be supporting us in 2017 through the Toyota Manufacturing UK Charitable Trust.

Funds are raised in a variety of ways, but most income will be coming from their much sought after Lean Approach Seminars.

Their highly acclaimed and successful Toyota Production System (TPS) is admired and copied throughout the world. It is regarded as the benchmark for manufacturing best practice.

Toyota seminars raise funds

Companies can go directly to the source at their Burnaston state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and learn more about Toyota’s approach to manufacturing.

Seminars on ‘Increasing quality, efficiency and profitability via a lean approach’ offer delegates a unique introduction to the Toyota Production System (TPS) & Quality Management.

The one day seminar includes an in depth introduction to TPS, Quality Management and Human Resource Management, presented by members of their senior management team. There is also an opportunity to take a tour of the Assembly shop with additional visits to the shop-floor in the afternoon. Delegates choose an interactive workshops such as An Introduction to Kaizen, Practical Problem Solving or Visual Control.

Mr. Men Little Miss

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Mr. Men Little Miss for the second time, following our original partnership which spanned 15 years from 1996-2011.

The partnership was reignited to celebrate Mr. Men Little Miss’s 45th year in 2016 – kick-starting with a bang with the Mr. Men Little Miss characters popping up across the breadth of our fundraising activities.

The Mr. Men Little Miss Virtual Run gives you a month to complete your chosen distance in your own time, while raising money for Children with Cancer UK.

The Mr. Men Little Miss Marathon Challenge is a brilliant way for schools to raise vital funds for Children with Cancer UK, and have lots of fun at the same time.
