SINCE 2012

One Aldwych

London’s definitive contemporary luxury hotel, One Aldwych, selected Children with Cancer UK as their charity partner in 2012. Ever since, the hotel has raised money and awareness for our cause with a sense of style and finesse.

Children with Cancer UK is One Aldwych’s specially selected charity partner and has raised over £70,000 for our vital work to date. The partnership launched with the successful ‘pound on the bill’ fundraiser in 2012, and continues today, inviting guests of to add £1 to their bill from the bar menu, afternoon tea, and in the hotel’s gluten-free restaurant, Indigo.

And their support doesn’t stop there. The exclusive hotel has given families of children with cancer its signature Golden Afternoon Tea, supported Children with Cancer UK’s Bake Club and illuminated the whole hotel in gold to mark Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In addition, Executive Chef Dominic Teague ran the London Marathon for us, raising over £5,000.

Kostas Sfaltos, One Aldwych General Manager, said: “Children with Cancer UK does a fantastic job funding research into childhood cancer and supporting families during their most difficult times. We are immensely proud to be their partner.”

One Aldwych also generously donates prizes such as their Film & Fizz nights and a luxury one night’s stay at the hotel, which is a stone’s throw away from London’s Covent Garden, for our annual Children with Cancer Ball.

Most recently, their support went even further, when Dominic invited four of his Michelin-star friends to host a sensational dining experience for some of our closest supporters. All proceeds from the dinner, which cost £150 per head, went directly to our work, raising over £9,000 for children with cancer.
