Opera at Syon is back for the 29th year, where Diva Opera will be providing two stunning evenings of entertainment, with productions of Bizet’s Carmen and Mozart’s Don Giovanni.
The opera will be performed in the beautiful setting of the Great Conservatory in Syon Park, the London home of the Duke of Northumberland. The Opera at Syon evenings have raised an incredible total of over £1.4 million for Children with Cancer UK to date.
The evening will begin with a champagne reception and picnics will be provided during the interval. We hope we can see you there for a wonderful evening, whilst raising funds for vital research into kinder treatments for children with cancer.
Wednesday 9th September: Carmen
Thursday 10th September: Don Giovanni
6:30pm – 11:30pm
Opera at Syon has been postponed from June to September due to uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The performance of Carmen is now scheduled to take place on Wednesday 9th September and the performance of Don Giovanni on Thursday 10th September. If you have already bought tickets and are still able to join us on the new date, you do not need to do anything at all and we will keep your tickets reserved for the performance that you have booked. If you have bought tickets but are unable to join us on the new date, please do get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org and we can issue a refund.
September 9th: Carmen
September 10th: Don Giovanni
Tickets: £180 each
The ticket price includes a champagne reception and a delicious picnic, with wine. Coffee is served in the Cactus House following the performance.
Ideally, the weather will be kind enough to allow picnicking on the lawn. Failing that, candle lit tables in the Great Conservatory make a wonderful alternative.
Please note seats for the performance are not reserved, so please arrive early to select your seats to avoid disappointment.
We held our 28th year of Opera at Syon on Wednesday 12th June and Thursday 13th June.
Over two nights, guests enjoyed a stunning performance by Diva Opera of L’italiana in Algeri and Madama Butterfly and a delicious dinner in the beautiful setting of the Great Conservatory at Syon Park.
We had some fantastic items up for auction including a week’s holiday in San Francisco, tickets to see The Magic Flute at The Royal Opera House and exclusive jewellery designed by Nada Le Cavelier.
The Opera at Syon evenings have raised an incredible total of over £1.4 million for Children with Cancer UK to date.
We were grateful to be joined at the event by two researchers funded by us, Dr Srdan Rogosic and Professor Sibylle Mittnacht. They spoke about their important research into safer and more effective childhood cancer treatments.
