The Children with Cancer UK Fundraising Charity Gala

On 11 November 2023, we held the annual Children with Cancer UK Gala. Hosted by Gaby Roslin and headlined by Soul II Soul. We were also joined by a host of celebrities. A massive thanks to our sponsors Market Financial Solutions and all the guests that joined us for an amazing night of fundraising.

The Gala raised over £620,000.

A sum that will have a profound impact on the lives of children facing a cancer diagnosis. These funds will be channelled into vital scientific research into childhood cancers and provide crucial ongoing support for young cancer patients and their loved ones.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and supported our cause.

Our history

When the O’Gorman family tragically lost two of their children to cancer, it launched a mission that we continue with to this day: to see a world where every child and young person survives cancer. As one of Britain’s leading charities devoted to research into the causes of and treatments for childhood cancers, our work has invested millions that has greatly improved the outcomes of the 4,200 children and young people a year who will face a cancer diagnosis.

Join us and help us to honour this legacy and keep doing this vital work.

The 2019 Ball

Thank you to all of our valued guests and performers for supporting what was another spectacular Children with Cancer UK Ball! We are delighted to share that the event raised over £620,000 to help fight the injustice of cancer in children. Thank you.

A wonderful evening of entertainment and fundraising

Hosted by Irish comedian Dara Ó Briain and headlined by R&B legend Billy Ocean, the Ball saw around 800 guests, including reality TV queen Scarlett Moffatt, come together for a wonderful evening of gourmet cuisine, fundraising and entertainment in London’s largest ballroom at the stunning Grosvenor House Hotel.

Multi-award-winning music legend Billy Ocean performed hit songs ‘Caribbean Queen’ and ‘Love Really Hurts Without You’ at the incredible evening of entertainment which also featured a jaw-dropping performance from Britain’s Got Talent illusionist Marc (aka ‘X’) Spelmann and X Factor winner Joe McElderry who treated guests to a rendition of his greatest hits.

With a champagne reception, delicious three course dinner, exclusive auction items and contributions from a host of celebrity guests, this year’s event was a truly unforgettable evening.
