Why this competition is taking place?

You will join over 100 other people who are impacted by childhood cancer.

Children with Cancer UK exists to find kinder less toxic cancer treatments for children. Currently many children are treated with therapies that are simply too big for them, as they were originally designed for adults, because there is no alternative treatment. These cancer therapies can leave children with stunted growth, cognition issues and infertility. Funds raised from this competition will support research and families impacted by childhood cancer.

Here’s Shaima & Tia’s Cancer Story

When Tia, a bright four year old who loved sports, science and cooking, became tired, withdrawn and in pain, her mum Shaima knew something wasn’t right.

“Adult cancer drugs are too big for children. We must find childhood cancer treatments that fit. No child should have to face the lifelong effects Tia lives with because treatments weren’t made for them.”

If you win and later find that the trip isn’t right for your family, you don’t have to take it.

If you choose to donate, we will ensure that another family with lived experience of childhood cancer receives this wonderful gift. And we will personally let that family know about your generosity and how and your kindness has made this dream come true.

Who can enter?

Anyone who is 18 or a resident of the UK. If you enter from outside of the UK your entry won’t be valid.

What you need to know

You must be able to travel to London Gatwick
You must be a parent or legal guardian of any children in your party
Children must be 12 or under on 28 December 2026
Your party can be: 1 adult + 3 children, 2 adults + 2 children, 1 adult + 2 children, 1 adult + 1 child, or 2 adults + 1 child

Important information

Travel documents and insurance

You are responsible for arranging and paying for:

Valid passports for all travellers
Any required visas
Comprehensive travel insurance covering all four members of your party

The prize does not include travel insurance. We strongly recommend obtaining full cover before travel.

Health and medical needs

A first responder will be travelling on the flight with us. However, as a parent or guardian, you take full responsibility for the health and safety of your party.

If anyone in your party has medical needs or health concerns, you must:

Be prepared to supervise and care for your own family at all times
Confirm that you are medically fit to travel
Tell us about any medications or support you may need

The prize is non-exchangeable

This prize cannot be exchanged for cash, alternative dates, alternative holidays, or any other compensation. This is a fixed prize for the dates 27–28 December 2026 to Rovaniemi, Finland.

The draw

We will draw a winner at random using a random number generator at 13:00 on 28 August 2026.
The winner will be contacted by telephone within 10 working days of the draw
You will have 10 working days to confirm your acceptance and provide the names and dates of birth of all four travellers
If we cannot reach you by phone, or if you decline the prize, we may draw another winner
