Fundraising in memory of Ben
Every year Howard and his family raise funds for a charity of their choice in memory of their son Ben. Ben sadly passed away in 2016 at age 15 from cancer. He was very keen on tractors, and was gifted one before he passed away, which he cherished. Howard, Ben’s dad, decided they wanted to give something back to the charities who had supported them throughout Ben’s cancer journey. The Ben Turner Memorial Tractor Run began, and has been running since. The family have raised thousands of pounds for many charities over the years, and will continue to do so in Ben’s memory. This year, Howard and his family kindly chose to fundraise for Children with Cancer UK. The event raised an incredible £20,021 for the charity, with over 100 tractors taking part in the run! We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone that took part in this year’s tractor run in memory of Ben. We’re so grateful for all your support. It’s thanks to supporters like you all that we can continue to invest in life-saving childhood cancer research.
