Fundraiser of the Month: Hannah

We couldn’t be doing what we’re doing, investing in research and supporting families, without our amazing fundraisers, large and small.

Fundraiser of the Month for February 2024 is awarded to Hannah, who felt inspired to help after two of her cousins were diagnosed with cancer.

What’s the fundraising challenge you set yourself and why?

To raise as much money for Children with Cancer UK as possible over the course of a year as I have two cousins who are diagnosed with cancer. I have been selling paper flower creations.

How’s your challenge going? If it’s completed – how did you find it?

So far I have raised £2771.45 for Children with Cancer UK.

Why did you decide to fundraise for Children with Cancer UK?

I have two cousins who are suffering from Cancer.

What would you say to anyone else who is considering taking on a fundraising challenge?

To go for it, it is enjoyable, will give you good social skills and is a very worthwhile cause.
