Find Out More

Every day, 10 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Two will not survive, and many survivors face lifelong side effects. Our aim is to determine the causes, find cures and provide care, with a united goal to save and improve young lives.

Help us make a difference.

Research is vital

We receive no government funding and rely exclusively on the generosity of our supporters. For over 35 years, we’ve been funding lifesaving childhood cancer research and supporting children with cancer and their families. With your help we’ve raised over £300 million, which has funded over 300 pioneering research projects and many other vital services for young cancer patients. We won’t stop until every child survives.

Who you’re helping

Read first-hand accounts from families affected by childhood cancer. It’s hard to imagine what it must feel like being told your child has cancer. This is the sad reality for 4,500 families in the UK every single year. Hear from some of these families as they deal with the devastating impacts of childhood cancer.

How you can help

There are lots of fundraising opportunities and events that you can get involved with to help raise money to support our vital work. Whether you want to run a marathon or bake a cake, we can help with ideas and the practical advice too.

Make a donation

Only around 2% of cancer funding in the UK is spent on research that is fully dedicated to childhood and young adult cancer. This is why your support is so important. By making a donation, you could help fund vital life-saving research into childhood cancers.

Other ways to give

There are many ways you can help to fund our vital work. Leave a gift in your Will, make a donation in lieu of flowers or gifts, enter our Weekly Winners Lottery, or buy a ticket for our Christmas Grand Draw. For more ideas take a look at the other ways to give section of our website.

Ellie’s story

Hi everyone! My name is Ellie. When I was 14 I was diagnosed with a cancer type called alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. To make something good out of a bad situation I decided to vlog my cancer journey. This Christmas I’m supporting Children with Cancer UK. Together we’re helping to raise awareness and raise money to help other children with cancer. You can help.
