Senior Individual Giving Manager

Contract: Full-time 

Location: Hybrid – Office 3 days a week (21-27 Lamb’s Conduit Street, London, WC1N 3NL)

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 (based on experience)

Reporting to: Head of Philanthropy

Contract type: Permanent

Direct Reports: 3 x Individual Giving Executives

This position will oversee the Individual Giving team and contribute to the overall organisation and fundraising strategy. You will be responsible for delivering an ambitious annual income target.

The role involves testing and optimising supporter acquisition campaigns across media channels (including face-to-face and paid social) to recommend sector best practices. It also includes maximising net income from appeals, mid-value programs, raffles, weekly lotteries, in memory donations, legacies, and developing direct marketing activities.

Individual Giving Executive

Contract: Full-time 

Location: Hybrid – Office 3 days a week (21-27 Lamb’s Conduit Street, London, WC1N 3NL)

Salary: £30,000-£34,000 (based on experience)

Reporting to: Senior Individual Giving Manager

Contract type: Permanent

Direct Reports: None

Working within the Individual Giving team, you’ll have a varied role managing and supporting the delivery of supporter-centric fundraising appeals which will recruit, retain and/or develop supporters across the cause-led, gaming, in memory and legacy programmes. These appeals will include utilising online and offline channels such as direct mail, organic and paid social advertising, email, private sites, SMS and telemarketing. 

This role would suit someone with some experience of marketing or fundraising or who would like to expand their experience of Individual Giving.

Research Manager

Direct Reports: Research Officer

The Research Manager is responsible for the delivery and day to day management of Children with Cancer UK’s research programme, ensuring our research funding delivers meaningful impact for children with cancer.

Reporting to the Head of Research, you will lead the delivery of the research programme, overseeing grant funding processes, managing the research portfolio, and ensuring effective monitoring of impact. You will also build and maintain strong relationships across the research and clinical community. Alongside this, you will work closely with the Head of Research to support the development of the programme, including new funding initiatives and partnerships. 

This is an exciting and varied role, ideal for someone with strong experience in research funding and management in the medical health charity sector who is looking to take ownership of a growing and ambitious research portfolio. Bringing passion for improving outcomes for children affected by cancer, you will join a growing and ambitious team at Children with Cancer UK and have line management responsibility for one member of staff.
