Super Science Party

Children with Cancer UK hosted a virtual science party for families affected by childhood cancer.

On Sunday 27 September 2020, we held a virtual science party with Einstein’s Entertainers for children affected by cancer and their families. 70 families signed up to join the Zoom party lasting 45 minutes, to play party games and get involved in fun scientific experiments. A few of the experiments included bubble cannon, slime making and helicopter making. All of the children received a mini home lab kit in the post which had everything they needed to take part in the experiments and get involved in the fun.
“Gwen really enjoyed the party. She has had a tough weekend after lots of seizures, so it really helped us. Gwen’s been talking about how much she loves science and wants to be a scientist ever since” – Mahoney, Dad of Gwen
Thank you to all the families who joined in from home and we hope to see you again soon! If you’re interested in our events for families affected by childhood cancer, you can find out more here.
