Whether you’re holding a coffee morning, running a marathon, trekking in the Sahara or raising money in memory of a loved one, an online fundraising page can help! We’ve teamed up with Virgin Money Giving to make your fundraising simple. Set up a fundraising page today and raise vital funds to fight childhood cancer.
Virgin Money Giving is an excellent online fundraising website which allows you to quickly set up a fundraising page so friends and family can easily help you reach your fundraising goals, leaving you more time to concentrate on the event.
Virgin Money Giving is 100% not-for-profit, meaning we get a much higher percentage of the donations compared to any other fundraising platform. They’re also the official fundraising website of the London Marathon and therefore one of the most well known and trusted fundraising platforms.
Follow the steps below to create a Virgin Money Giving page and start fundraising!
Visit the Children with Cancer UK page on Virgin Money Giving. Select ‘Start Fundraising’ and follow the onscreen instructions to set up your new account or log into an existing one.
Type in what you’re doing to raise money. If you’re participating in an organised event, select it from the list. If you’re running your own fundraiser, click ‘Doing something else?’ and choose the dates you’re doing it then click ‘next’. Make sure Children with Cancer UK is selected as your charity and click ‘Create my page’.
Now, it’s time to set a fundraising target and tell the story of why you’re raising money! Customise your page with images, text and more, then share the link to social media to spread the word and start collecting donations!
