A tour of Harry Potter Studios

Children with Cancer UK hosted two virtual parties for children affected by childhood cancer during the coronavirus lockdown period.

Hogwarts in the Snow

On Monday 2 December 2019, 30 families affected by childhood cancer were welcomed to the ‘Hogwarts in the Snow’ experience at Warner Bros Harry Potter studios for an exclusive tour. Guests were escorted through the brand-new cinematic experience by characters from the Harry Potter films series and into the studio tour where they explored the sets, props and costumes featured in the films. During the tour guests had a go at flying on a broomstick, they walked through the forbidden forest and they explored platform 9¾ and the original Hogwarts train. Guests enjoyed a butterbeer in the famous backlot café before exploring Gringott’s wizarding bank. Each guest went home with their very own personalised wand to make the experience even more special.
