We are united by one vision – a world where every child survives cancer.

Our charity was founded in 1987 by Marion and Eddie O’Gorman in memory of their children Paul and Jean. For over 35 years, we’ve been working tirelessly to fund vital research, support families and raise awareness.

Our story

After losing both their children to cancer in the same year, the O’Gorman family founded Children with Cancer UK to fund research and help other families living through the same situation. This became their life’s work and their legacy.

Our mission

Our mission is to see a world where every child and young person survives cancer and to ensure that children with cancer have the best possible chance of survival with access to the best possible care and support, regardless of their economic situation or where they live in the UK.

Our impact

We’ve been making a difference in the lives of children with cancer since 1988, funding our first research centre in 1995. In those 35 years we’ve developed kinder treatments, helped people to better understand childhood cancer and raised over £300 million, funding over 300 research projects.

Our people

Our team is united by a common goal – to save and improve young lives. Everything we do revolves around this.
