Run in one of the world’s most iconic cities

The Cape Town Marathon is on the brink of making history as it’s set to become the 8th World Marathon Major, joining the ranks of London, New York, Berlin, and more. Known for its fast, flat course and breathtaking scenery – from Table Mountain to the Atlantic coastline – this race is a must for any marathon enthusiast.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best or looking to tick off a bucket list race, Cape Town offers a unique blend of challenge and beauty.

  • Registration fee: £100 (plus VAT) – you will be sent a link to pay your registration fee when we have received your form
  • Minimum fundraising target: £2000

What to expect from Children with Cancer UK

You can be part of our Cape Town Marathon 2026 team whether you secure your own place independently of the charity or are allocated one of our charity places. When you join our team, you will receive the following support from us;

  • Fundraising Pack: Our digital pack is filled with training tips, fundraising advice, and all the essentials you need to prepare for race day.
  • Race Day Kit: You’ll get a Children with Cancer UK running top to wear with pride as you race through the streets of Brighton.
  • Support Throughout: Our Sports Event Team will provide regular updates, training tips, and personalized support to help you every step of the way.
