All presentations must be relevant to paediatric and TYA oncology and malignant haematology.
The submission deadline for abstracts is 17.00 on 28th June 2019.
Essential revisions to your Abstract may be requested up to the 21st July.
Please note: All accepted abstracts will be published online in advance of the conference and available to registered conference delegates.
Once an abstract is accepted, any requests to withdraw must be submitted by email to Posters@Childrenwithcancer.org.uk by 21st July 2019.
The presenting author must be a co-author listed on the submitted abstract
The presenting author is responsible for ensuring that all authors have read the abstract and agreed to be co-authors
The presenting author must Register and pay the relevant delegate fee for attendance at Childhood Cancer 2019; the abstract will be withdrawn if this is not done by 13th July 2019.
The final display Posters may be up to A0 in size in Portrait orientation or A1 size in Landscape or Portrait. Due to space restrictions, larger width posters will not be accepted.
We recommend that you keep your layout clear and concise without any dense text. If you wish, you may also bring A4 handouts with more detail to hand out.
Abstracts must be based on original, unpublished research which is not currently submitted elsewhere
Abstracts must be submitted using the Childhood Cancer 2019 abstract submission form and template:
The abstract must address scientific questions, detail clinical observations, or present primary scientific data
The Poster presentation at Childhood Cancer 2019 must reflect the submitted abstract. In particular, the abstract title, authorship and scientific content of the presentation must match the submitted abstract, although updates on results may be added.
Abstracts should be written in clear and concise English. On submission, all abstracts will be proof-read by the meeting organisers to check that they conform to the format specified on the Abstract Template.
All accepted abstracts must be displayed as posters. In addition, 10 will be selected as suitable for a brief (3 minute) oral presentation during the meeting. Those selected will be informed by 1st August 2019.
Presenting authors will be notified by the 5th July 2019 whether or not their abstract has been accepted. If you have not received notification by 14th July then please contact the conference email address.
Once an abstract is accepted, any requests to withdraw must be submitted by email to Posters@Childrenwithcancer.org.uk by 21st July 2019 Abstracts cannot be withdrawn after this deadline.
Please note that submission of a Poster Abstract does not register you for Childhood Cancer 2019.
To register, you must complete the registration process on the Registration and pay the appropriate delegate fee of £60. Registration must be completed by 14th July 2019 otherwise your abstract will be withdrawn.
