Fundraiser of the Month: Finnley and his stair challenge

Finnley named Fundraiser of the Month

After seeing a little girl fundraise for charity on CBBC, Finnley decided to take on his own charity challenge for Children with Cancer UK. He decided that his challenge would be running the stairs at home 2,000 times over the space of 10 days. This equated to 26,000 steps. Finnley’s mum, Zoe, told us:
He did really well and his brother was a great supporter and helped keep him motivated when his legs got tired. Finnley has chosen to do this challenge for other children and has selected Children with Cancer UK.
Finnley raised an incredible £473.75 and even appeared on BBC East Midlands Make a Difference Campaign. We want to say a huge thank you to both Finnley and his family for their hard work and fundraising efforts. Finnley will certainly be helping us to make a big difference, ensuring we can continue to fund vital research for children and young people with cancer. If you would like to support Finnley with his fundraising, there is still time to head over to his Just Giving page to donate. Donate to Finnley’s challenge
