Our special outings and events for children with cancer and their families provide a memorable day out and a much needed break from treatments and hospital visits.
Watch the heart-warming video of our Christmas parties in London and Manchester this year, giving children with cancer the opportunity to enjoy a chemo-free Christmas experience; a chance to forget about hospital and cancer treatment.
It’s really important to see families at all stages of treatment. It gives you a real sense that there’s a beginning, a middle and an end to this whole trauma that you’re going through. Doing something like this, letting them forget about the hospital and the chemo and all the hardship that they experienced and just having a lot of fun, it’s so important for families who go through this kind of treatment to feel like they’re not alone. Thinking about families like this and supporting us, it’s a very comforting space.Kathi, Mum of Vega, who attended the London Christmas Party
These events are so important to families like ours. They bring happiness and excitement back to our children who have missed out on so many childhood experiences, whilst undergoing harsh treatments. Harlie was so excited to meet Santa and she loved having her face painted. It made her feel like a princess. She just loved the whole experience and all of the excitement surrounding it.Natalie, Mum of Harlie, who attended the Manchester Christmas Party
