The Variety Club Children’s Nurses

Vital training grants

From 2004-2007, we made an annual grant of £60,000 towards the Variety Club’s innovative Paediatric Nursing Award scheme.

Through this scheme the Variety Club provides vital training grants for nurses working with children in the UK, covering travel and accommodation costs as well as course fees.

This enables nurses to undertake vital training that they would otherwise be unable to afford.

In this way the Variety Club helps nurses improve their skills in specialist areas and, as a result, have a direct impact on the standard of healthcare for children in the UK.
