Dawn and Sharon win Fundraisers of the Month!
A keen cyclist and runner, Dawn has completed various events for Children with Cancer UK, including Ride London and the Great North Run! Heartbreakingly, Dawn lost her son, Christopher, to an inoperable brain tumour thirty years ago. Christopher was only six years old at the time.He was a bubbly bright boy with a wicked sense of humour. He never complained about life and all the things he had to go through to help him with his battle. Sadly, my son didn’t pull through and he will be forever missed but with the continued research and advances on modern medicines I am sure more lives are being saved. There is still a lot to do so that’s why I will continue to try and raise awareness and money for Children with Cancer UK – their work is making a difference.Dawn Dawn and her sister Sharon cycled over 200 miles from Kings Lynn to Harwich this September, and in total, Dawn has raised over £15,000 for Children with Cancer UK in her years of support. We want to say a huge thank you to Dawn and her sister Sharon who has cycled by her side. Thank you both for helping us to continue to invest in high quality research as well as supporting families with fun days out.
