Children with Cancer UK is inviting you to take part in a focus group about holistic support needs

Children with Cancer UK is setting up an exciting new wellbeing retreat for families affected by childhood cancer. To help us to do this, we are working with Nicola O’Donnell, our consultant for psychological and family support services. Nicola has many years of experience working with children and families affected by cancer, both clinically and in research.

All participants in the focus group will be given a £10 Amazon voucher as a thank you for your time.

Children with Cancer UK are setting up an exciting new wellbeing retreat called Raines Retreat for families affected by childhood cancer. To help us to do this, we are working with Nicola O’Donnell, our consultant for psychological and family support services. Nicola (in the video) has many years of experience working with children and families affected by cancer, both clinically and in research.

By taking part in the one-off focus group will help us to develop our new retreat in line with what is important to families.

The aim of this project is:

to learn more about the wider impact of childhood cancer
to plan the kind of psychological and social support that would be helpful

If you are under 16 or over 16 but under 18, we would like you to discuss taking part with your parent/carer. If you or your parents would like to have a discussion on the phone, please let us know your contact number and we will arrange to give you a call.
